About the club
Wilston Norths Junior Cricket Club is a junior community sports club based in the inner Northern suburbs of Brisbane.
The club was established in 1974 by our patron Glyn Netto and Merv Buckley and currently has over 900 male and female players aged 5 to 16 across 84 teams in the Brisbane North Junior Cricket Association (BNJCA) Competition each season. We are the second largest junior cricket club in South East Queensland.
Our club is built on an inclusive and diverse community with members from many different cultures and backgrounds. We are incredibly proud to have a growing cohort of female cricket players, with our club experiencing 30% growth in our girls cricket programs to total over 60 girls playing Friday night Cricket Blast and Saturday club cricket.
We have a close affiliation with our senior club, Northern Suburbs District Club, Stafford District Cricket Club and hold membership of the Brisbane Inner Northern Sporting Community.
We are grateful for the support of our sponsors StoreLocal Newmarket and Hoppy’s Handwash Cafe.
