Milo T20 Blast

Our T20 Blast program, as part of the Queensland Cricket (QC) endorsed T20 Blast competition is for girls aged 7 – 11 years and boys aged 8-10 years with basic cricket skills, but who have not played organized cricket before (but may have done MILO In2Cricket). They get to show off all their skills in a highly active T20 cricket modified games (90 minutes). Games are played on the Friday night at Gibson Park, Stafford in a club environment using a wooden bat and rubber ball to keep things safe. Children are placed in a team of 8 (we have girls-only teams if there are enough numbers). Everyone has a turn batting, bowling and fielding. It means players get to play real games of T20, with lots of big hits, classic catches and heaps of fun.

The program also involves skills development. It is important to note Club volunteers and parent participation run the sessions and assistance will be required to umpire games, score and marshal players.

Wilston Norths will field a girl’s only team if enough players are available.

Sessions run from 5.30pm to 7:00pm (90mins) on Friday evenings at Gibson Park, Stafford.

FAQ(S): Do I have to play for both Term 4 and Term 1? Is there a Pre or Post Christmas fee?

No, you do not have to do both Terms. If the player has achieved the basic skills they can progress to either the T20 Blast or Super 6 programs provided they meet the age requirements. For players returning for the Post-Christmas In2Cricket and T20 programs there is a $40 fee to cover the cost of lights, grounds and cleaning. If moving to Super 6, you will pay a half season membership that will cover playing shirt, registration costs and contribute to ball, equipment and coaching costs.
