Junior Blasters – 5-7 Years (formerly In2Cricket)

Description

Our Junior Blasters program is for boys and girls, aged between 5 to 7 years. Junior Blasters is for kids learning the basic skills of cricket with participants building their skills through fun, game based activities. Activites are designed for small groups, led by our Junior Coaches, to ensure every child gets a go, allowing them to test and learn new skills. When they have mastered the basics they will be ready for modified games of cricket.

The Junior Blasters program is set up in a way that regardless of skill level, participants can progress through the different levels of activity until they have the basic cricket skills required to progress to Master Blasters program.

Schedule

Sessions run from 6.00pm to 7:00pm (60mins) on Friday evenings at Gibson Park, Stafford. 

Pre-Christmas program –  (Term 4 ):                       Friday’s, October 19th – November 30th, 2018 (7 Weeks)

Post-Christmas program –  (Term 1):                     Friday’s, February 8th – March 15th, 2018 (6 Weeks)

Note: Information Session on Friday, October 19th, 5.30pm to 6.00pm (30min prior to start of session)

Clothing and Equipment

Registered participants receive a Junior Blasters Pack which includes a cap, personalised shirt and bat and ball (the club will distribute the bats over the first few sessions). Participants are free to wear their school uniform, club or other cricket shirts if they wish, any bottoms allowed. A hat, covered shoes and a water bottle are essential.

All other equipment is provided by the club.

Registration and Fees

Pre-Christmas Fees are $130.00 (7 Weeks).

Post-Christmas Fees are $120.00 (6 Weeks)

Fees cover the cost of lights, coaches, grounds and cleaning maintenance, canteen & administration staff.

FAQ(S): Do I have to play for both Term 4 and Term 1? Is there a Pre or Post Christmas fee?

No, you do not have to do both Term’s. If your child has achieved the basic skills they can progress to our U8 & U9 Master Blasters Program depending on age and physical requirements.

If moving to Master Blasters, you will pay a Half-Season Post Christmas Membership (there is no Pre-Christmas Half Season Membership) that will cover playing shirt, registration costs, insurance and contribute to ball, equipment and coaching costs.
